Does anyone know what the name of the ban was that ended the sale of Diesel Rovers?
I'm doing a presentation for an Environmental Policy class and want to do it on that. I've tried googling it and the best I can come up with is the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990. I'd love it if one of you can either confirm that or provide the name of the policy that banned them. And of course, credit will be given if you help me out.
Additionally, if anyone has any comments about the diesel ban they'd like to add I'd be glad to include it and as previously stated, show credit for it.

Some are still blazing. The one in the Ft. Davis mountains is still going last I heard. I was actually set to drive my GT to Alpine, Texas that Saturday and hang out with some friends and go camping in the desert that weekend.
I had to work that Saturday and was headed to Alpine after work. The fire in Midland already had Interstate 20 shut down. No worries, I could take an alternate route. Then I found out about the fire in Ft. Davis from my friends already down there. US 67 from Interstate 10 to Alpine was shut down. The fire was headed toward Balmorhea and that was my alternate route as well. I stayed in Midland.
My friends that were already in Alpine were driving from Ft. Davis to Alpine and snapped these pictures:
