Sorry I haven't been around much lately.
Since sometime around Thanksgiving I've been extremely busy at work and spending several days away from home out in the oil field. Even had one day where I had to fly to Houston and back (the blizzard made my flight late even from Houston to Midland).
I enrolled back in school so ironically I'll have time to get online while I'm either in class or waiting on a class to start.
I never forgot about y'all lol. I look forward to getting caught up with y'all now that I'll have some more free time being away from the oil field some.
So what's new with you guys?

Welcome back!
I've been busy too.
Started the Portrait Drawing ant Forensic Art classe yesterday in Fallon at WNC.... A long day: The portrait class is 9:00 to 12:00 and the forensic class is 4:00 t0 7:00 so I've got 4 hours to kill in Fallon every Wednesday between classes (it's about 50 miles round trip from my place in Fernley to the college)....
So I had a very leisurely lunch at a very nice restaurant with a few friends; then spent almost three hours at the Churchill County Museum -> a very interesting small town museum - I'll be going back there several times with the camera!
The portrait class was interesting and fun - Even though I'm pretty much already very good at portraits I can still get some things out of it.
The forensics class is going to be INCREDIBLY intersesting - - Even though yesterday was just an introduction, it was fascinating. The instructor is a professional forensic artist who works mostly in northern Nevada. She also gets called to other places in the western US. She not only has trained at the FBI acadamy but she also trains other people there -

James!!! Glad to hear you are well.
Ron, got your e-mail, VERY NICE!!!
Things have been busy over here. We keep getting hit with a ton of snow every week. IT'S AWESOME!!! Peter broke his collarbone about three weeks ago so he has been pissed off since then. It's not fun. Can't blame him really... I'd be pissed too.
My cat is sick. I'm worried about her. She may have vestibular so we're going to get that sorted out Saturday. In the meantime I've been babying her and worrying about her. She's 18.5yrs old and we've had her since I was 8! So I'm not really taking this well.
Between skiing and work and being sick, I've been all out. Finally got my house back in order so I can try to get some sewing projects done. Life is good. Busy, but good. Hopefully in the next couple weeks I'll have some good news, better news, whatever.

WOW!!! That is old for a cat haha I HAVE HOPE!!!
Vet appointment is Saturday. 2 days. She started walking better. Now she doesn't look like a drunk anymore, she just looks a little buzzed haha But they said that would happen. Eye is looking better too, but I know something is going on with her so I'm keeping the appointment.
Congrats on the new kiddo Leo!
