I'll add to this as I have time. For now, when confronted by a no-start condition, the first two things to determine are fuel and spark.

I thought there were 3 generals... AIR, fuel, and spark. Curious to know what's going on with this...

That's pretty basic all right. Kinda' like if your TV doesn't work, make sure it's plugged into the wall.....

No fuel pressure?
Is there power to the white/purple wire on the pump, relative to ground?

Do you have spark at the end of a plug wire?
Do you have spark right at the coil?

Don't forget the simple things... like fuses. Sometimes we read too much into things and overlook the easy things.
