Going Friday to take delivery of a new to me Cessna 150. I have been wanting alittle beer can buzzer for awhile and this is about as perfect as little planes come. Low hot time, just had its annual, fresh interior, engine work done and only two owners. ;D Its a steal and will allow me to come visit some of our fourm members thats do not have mountains in the way.
Picturs go up Friday evening when I get her home to Pensacola Regional.

You got a problem with mountains? Wait, that thing couldn't make it over them out here! Contrats bro, those are super fun IMO - did a ton of training in one back in the '90's.

Well ceiling was low and it was IFR all day. So I am trying again tomorrow, I am hoping the cross winds won't be too bad to fly. Heres a sample picture of Echo Foxtrot. I am replacing the carpet, seats and adding shoulder harnesses. Also need to hardwire the Garmin 196, its currently plugged into the cigar lighter. Attachments:

Shes a 1967 model. And no flames aren't on the list. I know I am going to end up spending way to much money on it but a paint job will not be one of those things. Its a stepping stone plane. After a couple years in the 150 I will upgrade to a V35 then to the world of turbo props.

Yes she is IFR cert but I only fly in VFR conditions and at day so its not a big deal to me. Airplanes with 110hp shouldn't fly in strong winds. haha

News update Echo Foxtrot is safe at Peter Prince. Not my first choice but I couldn't get her into the airport I wanted and I am on their waiting list.

Holding pattern...
We just got the long walk to our shade hangars here with Sundance Film Fest in town, the number of private/biz jets is just insane... we (the school) got the shaft on the parking (or pecking...) order.
I tell ya though - the G1000's pretty sweet with the combination nav/gps/instruments... redundancy and a full AHRS gyro...
