Peter and I do not have cable.
However, we are house sitting for the next week and a half and they have cable. :-) We like the repo shows, pawn stars, Pete likes hoarding, but it just depresses me, cops, dumb criminals, medical shows of weird freaky stuff, things like that.
Before I got rid of cable 2yrs ago I really liked House (James is with me there), Lie To Me, and Southland. The Simpsons, Southpark, and Family Guy is awesome too.
But I like NOT having cable coz there's too much crap on tv and it's all mindless. I prefer to be outside. It's kinda nice to have in the winter coz I don't go out much during the week. But summer time, I'll be out biking or hiking til the sun goes down so it's not worth it to me... until the Olympics or the World Cup comes around and then I'm kicking myself haha

The main channels I watch are History, Discovery, SciFi, and BBC America.
So pretty much what ever is on those channels in the evenings is what I'm watching.

I tend towards History and Discovery. Even those have some pretty lame stuff:
Things like Axemen, Ice-Road Truckers, The crab fishermen, etc. are interesting for one episode but making a series out of them gets a bit silly.
NOVA usually has good stuff.
I watch NASA at least once a day just to see what is going on.
Everything on the sit-coms and reality shows is just dumb. I do, however, catch Survivor and Big Bang now and then.

Ditched the satellite when we moved last summer, but Fringe, House, and every now and again will be Lie to Me or Mentalist, depending on the family's schedule. Don't get a chance to watch much these days (20 credits in school and the family tends to preclude the t.v.)

Kara you can still catch House on Fox.
I like:
Big Bang Theory
Two and a Half Men (Charlie Sheen may be an idiot but that show is funny)
House
Fringe
Bones
South Park (more for their political episodes)
The Walking Dead (comes on AMC)
I like History channel a lot but don't watch it as much as I'd like to.
