We're just getting over our last snow. No snow in the extended forecast for us next week, but that's always subject to change.

Looks like we're about a day behind ya with the forecast. The last little one put about 6 on the ground and the temps to keep it here. Likely upper 40's though for the weekend to help melt it off. Then again, I'm up on the bench so it tends to stay a bit longer.

We had some snow last week, then I saw the Jeep Grand Cherokee commercial about driving in snow and thought, "Good job Jeep, Land Rover has had that technology since the 2005 Model Year.

It's been blowing 30 to 60mph the past three days - Started out raining at about 5:00am - Right now turning to wet snow - Forecast is for snow for the next seven days = Every day! We're probably only going to get it in inches - Donner Pass is supposed to get two feet today and several feet throughout the week.
I was supposed to go to California this weekend but might not be able to get over the summit -> Even in a Rover!

I was supposed to go to California this weekend but might not be able to get over the summit -> Even in a Rover! I'm sure the only reason you wouldn't be able to make it, is if people have wrecked in front of you blocking the road.

That front just pushed through here with Thunder-Snow storms last night... closed Parley's and Big/Little Cottonwood canyons.
Got a snow run with the local group next Saturday I'm looking forward to!

We got that snow in the form of rain this week. Heaven knows we need it. It's supposed to rain progressively harder tomorrow and end up in a nasty storm tomorrow night. I figure that, combined with the solar flare storm, ought to be quite a thrill for the weekend.

The drive down from NV to CA was really hazardous! Lot's of people off the road; one major wreck; took me 8 hours to drive the 250 miles.... As I rarely touched the pavement below the snow and ice I'm declaring it LR Trek 199. I'll write it up later today.....
